Kuwait Training Course 2010

This training course was held between 27th of February and 11th of March 2010 at the Regency Hotel in Kuwait. It was a part of the joint activities that are being tried by NEMA is with the Islam Presentation Committee in Kuwait. The event was attended by the head of the Islam Presentation Committee in Kuwait; Dr Jamal El-Shaty. It was also attended by Mrs Amal Abdel-Wahed (program co-ordinator), Sheikh Wanes (FIOE President of Da’wa) and Dr Hany El-Deeb (President of NEMA).
 
This event gathered new Muslims from across six different European countries. During these two weeks a distinct educational program was followed which ensured a range of topics, most notably:
- A course in science advocacy and assets of the Bahraini activist Bilal Sultan.
- Fadel Soliman, questions raised about Islam and systematic response.
- Dr Moses Jawasr, a course in methods of communication and to identify the patterns of the characters.
- A general lecture by Dr Tarek Swidan, and lectures for each of Mr Ahmed Al Mutawa and Mr Ibrahim Adsani.
 
The program was not devoid of social and recreational activities and included visiting a youth centre and attend a traditional wedding ceremony and tours.
 
The event was an opportunity for NEMA officials to meet with a number of indivanduals and supporters including Sheikh Yousef Al-Hajji Chairman of the Kuwait Islamic charity and Dr Motleq Qarawi Assistant Kuwaiti Minister of Awqaf and Dr Faisal Al Zamil, Chairman of the definition of Islam. It should be noted that the activity was supported entirely from Islam Presentation Committee in Kuwait.
 
The following is the program that was followed during this event:
The closing ceremony was one of a distinct nature as in the presence was Mr Jassem Al-Kharafi (Kuwaiti National Assembly Spokesman), Dr Adel Al-Falah (Undersecretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs) and Dr Faisal Al-Zamil (Chairman of the Islam Presentation Committee) and a group of preachers and heads of charities in Kuwait. In addition, the media, TV and press covered the activities of this unique event.
